About Us:

MALTA CARES FOR KIDS is a new initative whereby the members of the Order of Malta, a lay religious organization, will raise funds for children helped by the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The funds generated by Malta members, through a fundraiser yet to be determined, will help children with neuromuscular diseases spend a week at one of the MDA's fully accessible, fully supervised and fully inclusive summer camps. We rely on contributions from the general public as well as Malta members to help in our mission of sending as many children as possible, up to a maximum of 70 children, to camp. Parents of children MDA serves DO NOT have to pay anything out of pocket for thier child to attend camp.
